Hello friends. And happy fall! We woke to snow this morning. SNOW! I couldn't believe it. We'd been savoring the last remaining days of warmth knowing it was to quickly end. But WHAMMY, it's definitely a shocker to the system to have things turn cold so fast. Time to put away the summer duds and break out the wool, corduroy, and....ahem, perfectly delightful hand-dyed velvet-- Anyone up for making some "Posh Squash" to celebrate?
I love those!! Are they hard to make?

I'll have to echo all the comments above!
This is about the most unique and creative use for velvet I have ever seen.
