a BIG thank you & our little Gray-vy dude
THANK YOU for all the sweet comments and emails on the Betty apron Ebay auction. WOWEE!! At last count there were 54 people watching. F.I.F.T.Y.F.O.U.R?!! Good heavens, what an audience! I was sooo nervous that no one would like it, and ended up with higher bids than I ever imagined. Thank you!! I'd love to start offering more one-of-a-kind specialties in the future. It was so much fun!
Now onto our little stinker--

He's got the face of an angel, but don't him fool ya. This little smoosher is just about as mischievous as they come. Anyone know how to get permanent marker and gooey sparkly lip gloss out of velvet couch cushions? *sigh* Next week he'll be 2 years old! I'm holding on for dear life...
Just wanted to pop in quickly and say hello. We're up to our eyeballs here with construction odds and ends. (We move in next week!!) I was hoping to have the apron kit club underway, but it will have to wait a couple more weeks....I've simply run out of time. Soo sorry for being a flake about that! :( If you're interested, make sure to sign up on my mailing list (link at the top of the left hand sidebar). You'll be sure to receive a special notice before it begins.
Off to the local lock and key joint to get our door knobs. Happy Thursday my friends~

Hey Kim!! I was one of those waiting on the apron...wow it was so, so cute! :) Just waiting for another so I can scoop it up!!
Little Gray is too cute! Love that he's gonna be 2 soon...yep you better hold on, my two year old drives me nuts daily! :)

Ohhh yeah!!! I knew you'd get a great response!
...next week...moving IN???? Sooo excited for you!
Can't wait to see your new craft room!!!

Oh no! Permanent marker and sparkley lip gloss? I have no glue how to get that out of velvet. Mr. Clean Magic Erasers usually work wonders on solid surfaces, but velvet? Not so much.
I do not know how you had the patience to build a house. I am just trying to decide on materials for our kitchen and bathroom and it's driving me crazy. Too. Many. Options.
Happy Moving! I have a great organizational tip for you. You can buy color coded packing tape at U-Haul. It is even labeled by room. It makes unpacking and unloading so much easier when the boxes are clearly labeled.

Good luck with everything (little rascals include)! *B

Hey girlie! OMGoodness! Of course your apron was going to bring HIGH bids!! Your little guy is so adorable! Believe it or not, my favorite age was 2! I loved when my girls were 2, it is just such a cute age! I am so excited for you...that next week is "move in" week!! We are still in the middle of construction! We've still got a few months to go!
Oh, and let me tell you...Isabella NEVER wrote on things or anything to destroy anything but Sofia, hmmmmmmm different story!
She drew all over my velvet sofa with blue sharpie! I was sick! Well, I got it out with this stuff called "Grandma's Spot Remover" It is amazing. She got grease from a car on her dress (my favorite little smocked dress!) and I thought it was ruined but Grandma's Spot remover got it out!! Miracle stuff, I tell ya! I hope you are able to fix yours!! Take care!! Have a great week!!

haha, my son did that on one of our bedspreads. the world is his canvas. i did manage to get a bit of it out using a paste of oxiclean, but i don't know if that'll work if the velvet isn't machine washable.
and the lip gloss, hmmm, that usually goes in his mouth long before it can touch the sofa.
good luck with the stains and the move in!

Gray is such a cutie!
That is wonderful that your finally ready to move in!!!
As far as the lipgloss, your could try a using an old towel (thin one) or dishtowel and low iron. I've done this with wax & its worked. It might work for the couch. The towel should protect it from the heat & soak up the gloss.
I'm finally taking the plunge to Ebay and am trying to sort out templates now. I'm sure I'll be emailing you for help. I need it!
Take care & hope everything goes well with the move. Can't wait to see pics!

You might need a slipcover! Permanent marker is usually permanent!

Try Goo-gone on the sofa for the lipgloss? If the covers come off the sofa, soaking in milk might take out the permanent ink....
