Spring weather and a new apron
Well hello spring! So nice to finally have you here! Woopsie, took a little unplanned blog hiatus for a bit. It's been wonderful lately...beautiful weather and lots of time spent outside with the babies. Little Gray LOOOOOVES being outdoors and throws a humongous 18-month-old-I-don't-have-the-words-to-tell-you-I-don't-want-to-go-inside tantrum every time we have to go back in. Poor little dude! We've been getting lots and lots of photos though! Gotta love when it finally warms up enough to get some LIGHT! YAY!

Isn't little G-man looking so big?! Where does the time go?!

And here's Miss Olivia drawing with sidewalk chalk. She LOOOOVES these little sparkly flip flops. Let's be honest here, I love them too!! Wish I could find some robin's egg blue glitter flip flops for myself. ;)

Even though it's been warm, the grass is still looking YUCK! I was itching for a color fix, so I snapped some shots of the CUTEST polkadot chalk. We found it last year at a local dollar store here in town. SCORE!
The bummer about all of this is that the weather man said it was supposed to snow tonight. Nooooooooooooooooo!!! I just can't bear it! Please, all you warm weathered friends, send some sunshiny vibes our way. We definitely need them!
............................
Total change of subject because there's no easy way for me to ramp into this. LOL
While doing all the projects for the give-away, I fell in love with a couple of the new aprons I sent out as gifts and decided to list them here for all you apron fans. ;) This one is inspired by my sweet friend Deb. Lovingly referred to as Diva Deb. I love her style and was inspired by her recent office makeover. She told me she loved chartreuse green, pink, and yellow....what better color combo for this time of year?! I can't think of many. :)
Please allow me to introduce Maggie:
Isn't that flower pocket the CUTEST thing?! I could add flower pockets to just about everything and be completely happy about it. And you can't tell very well in these photos, but there is a fun little scalloped edge machine embroidered right above the ruffle. It's all in the details, right? ;) Hope you like it! I'm up to my EYEBALLS in loads of new projects, but hope to get more apron styles up soon.
Oh, I nearly forgot...all digital goodies are by Jen Wilson. Go check out her new stuff. AMAZING!
ETA: WOW! This was the fastest selling apron yet. I'm overflowing with orders. Thank you friends. I'll upadate soon. :)

What a thing of beauty! Ohh, how I love aprons. And can I just say you have the cutest kids in the history of kids?!

You are really tempting me...I have always wanted to order one of your cute little aprons...now, I just need to decide if I should order this one, or wait and see the new ones (you said you are putting more up soon). You don't by chance ever make full aprons do you? I am looking forward to seeing your new creations...thanks for all of the inspiration!

of course, I LOVE your apron...but also love the little digital "sale price" tag. I jumped to your Jen Wilson link but quickly got lost trying to find the tag...do you remember what kit it was with?

Oh goodness Kim! Describing your talents go beyond words, because they themselves (your skills) transcend all description that may be deemed worthy! Soooooo if you can't tell, I LOVE the new apron!!! I love it so much, my husband is jealous! And yes, it is ALL about the details! ;) Dang Gina, you have my mouth watering!
And look at how cute the G-man is!!! I can't get over how cool and hip he is, too! Man, maybe you should just take a break from the snow and cold and visit some of your warm-weathered friends in the 'bu (and then our little grease monkeys can play together, and some of your boy's radness would rub off on mine... oh, and hopefully the same kind of osmosis process would happen with the mommies too!)!
Oh, and love the chalk! And sparkly flip-flops!!! I should show you mine...
sending sunshiny vibes,
*B

Seriously, how cute are your kiddos, the flip flops and those aprons? I would totally send some sun vibes your way but we are in the middle of a downpour right now so I've got nothin'. Good luck with the snow. *wink*

Love everything about your post today. I noticed you were taking a blog break. We all need them sometime but I'm glad your back. I have been trying to spend less time on the computer and more time outside but not having our yard done puts a damper on things. Hopefully soon as in next week!!! Anyway, what can I say about Maggie that hasn't already been said. She's adorable. I swear everything you touch turns to gold. All of these digi shops better be paying you ALOT for using their stuff cause I'm sure most people go there after and buy up what you use in your digital creations. I know I do. Like the tuille flowers!! Love them. I do know I have to get me some of that Heather Bailey fabric.
